Today our islands are a peaceful and welcoming haven for local residents and visitors alike, but this was not always the case! In days gone by adventurers, warriors, saints and explorers came to Mull, Iona and our surrounding islands in search of new land to conquer and settle on, to bring their ideas to and in search of treasure. Each visitor was on a quest to discover our islands – and now it’s your turn to do the same!
Whether you are visiting Mull and Iona for a day, a week or much longer, complete as many of the clues as you can (you don’t need to find them all), and return your sheet to the Craignure Visitor Information Centre to receive your certificate and special prize.
The clues are all at well-known landmarks around our islands, and with a few exceptions, they are all open year-round and are free to visit.
